The Japanese term 'Pecha Kucha' roughly translates as chit-chat or irritating chatter. As a happy crossbreed between an elevator pitch and speed dating, Pecha Kucha Night will present 12 participants who will show 20 slides for 20 seconds each. No more boring lectures, seminars or presentations. Pecha Kucha Night offers the audience the experience of a dazzling range of speakers and images in the course of one evening.
Come along on October 14 and dive into the worlds of lockpicking, brilliant paper sculptures you've never seen before, the letters of Vincent van Gogh, everyday life in the Dutch bible belt, illustrations and graphics by two of Holland's biggest talents, and fresh food design!
Breaks will be filled with drinks, funky tunes and visuals by Merel Das aka Blackbird Badger. We will astound you with fabulously inspiring presenters, great music to dance to and so many interesting people in one space at one time, you'll wish you had more time to speak to all of them!
Doors open 20.20 hrs, Pecha Kucha starts 21:00 hrs. Be on time!

I do not mind mixed english+dutch presentations but woudl be nice if I do not burn my brain trying to guess what each presentation was about ;-)
Partly
English is not required, but in practice most people do it anyway.
