Freight cost by air 7,3 USD/kg (minimum of 60 kg) Shanghai-Amsterdam. It takes 2-3 days (from airport to airport), but from order till arrival you better count 2 weeks.
You have two options: either manage your own pick up with DHL, or let the supplier arrange the pick up. Advances of arranging it yourself, is that you have more control on the whole shipment, from door to door. If you let the supplier arrange it. they will arrange a different broker, which has to be contacted by our DHL importer Wim.
After shipping by air from Shanghai, the freight will be collected by Airo Ground Service (020-603 22 22).
If you order materials you need to tell the Chinese supplier to contact the local DHL Global Forwarding office.
To import fabrics we need the original Certificate of Origin from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce to get the freight thru customs.
