I remember my early childhood as a time shaded by maps, planes, journeys when I used to draw imaginary countries, airports & landscapes...
Being born in Bogotá, I left my hometown at the age of 17. Ever since I had become a nomad, a traveler, a never-local.
In the process of embracing a new nationality, that of Spain, and adopting foreign images as my own ones, identity issues have risen throughout this 10 years process. In the meantime my familie's influences, my old memories had become my carry-on identity and developed a personal visual urge to find references in what sorrounded me. Wether in Mongolia, in Greece or in Amsterdam I still feel that Bogotá (in a more abstract or sometimes pragmatic way) follows me inevitably.
I currently work and experiment as a Graphic Designer in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
