Artist-scientist Felix Hess in Vanes creates a flowerbed from fragile paper. Catching the tiniest air turbulence, the flowers produce a ballet, both spectacular and subtle.
Especially for Night Garden, Mateusz Herczka developed Enhanced Bench, a garden bench that has a marked positive effect on those that sit upon it. Do you dare to be positively influenced? www.westerplatte.net/
Ralf Schreiber (www.ralfschreiber.com/)and Christian Faubel (derstrudel.org/) produce small robots that shortly after their 'conception' begin to lead unusually autonomous lives. Autonomous for a robot, that is. During the course of the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to solder their own small robots together and set them free in the garden.
Debra Solomon opens the doors to her prototype Microgreen Sproutstaurant Grow yer own dang food, in which no less than 3 sorts of potato mash and 30 kinds of sprouts and cress provide the basis for a delicious tasting experience. Thursdays through Saturday guests can enjoy a plate of sprout mash in the Night Garden. 18.00 - 22.00h. www.culiblog.org Call +31 (0)20 638 9901 for reservations.
