Fırat Bingöl
Born in Diyarbakır in 1981. Graduated from Dicle University, Fine Arts department in 2004. Works as an art trainer -voluntarily and professionally -with NGOs since 2000 and since 2008 works as the project coordinator of a social responsibility project with the students of IELEV and Rotary Bölge Vakfı Özel İlköğretim Okulu ( school for hearing impaired students). He continues his works on painting, video and photography in Istanbul. The group exhibitions he has attended are: “In celebration of global fair and festival” -The international art exchange exhibition- Incheon/S.Korea, 2009; “The 28th Contemporary Artists Istanbul Exhibition” curated by Simone Vidmar and Derya Yücel, with Aksanat in Istanbul, 2009; “24 Hours Petroleum” curated by Fikret Atay in Batman, 2009; “İklimler” with Saison Video, Lille/ France, 2009; “2nd Sinop Biennial/Sinopale” (Creative Art Workshop Training with Sonja Böhler Tanrısever) curated by Melih Görgün in Sinop, 2008; “Nightcomers” -10th Istanbul Biennial- Istanbul, 2007; “Culture Movement” with Anadolu Kültür in Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Antalya, Mersin, Ankara, 2007; “Uçhisar International Artist Meeting” with French Institute of İstanbul in Nevşehir and Istanbul, 2007; “Newroz” with Diyarbakır Art Center (DSM) and Galeri Apel in Diyarbakır, 2005. In 2010, “Gerilimler” with Saison Video in Lille/France.
