Ann is a native Angelino and graduated from UCLA with an MFA in Directing for Film and Television. Her insightful feature-length documentary, Overstay, about migrant workers in Japan has screened worldwide to enthusiastic audiences. Ann has made several short films, among them, Lucy Goes Shopping, A Shortness of Breath and Displaced which have toured many festivals. Ann was a Japan Foundation Artist Fellow and was recently awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to direct a film in Peru. Ann is also a cinematographer and has shot numerous documentaries and shorts.
