Symposium by Dutch Design Foundation PREMSELA.

Chaired by Dingeman Kuilam, director of Premsela, Dutch Design Foundation, with contributions by: Pierre Bernard, Dutsch design critic Catherine de Smet, and Dutch graphic designers Nikki Gonnissen and Thomas Widdershoven (Thonik) and Pjotr de Jong (Vandejong).

The designers will discuss their vier of the position of graphic designers in the public domain on the basis of a presentation of their own work. In what ways are they involved in the public domain? What are their underlying views? How do they see their role in the near future?

The symposium will be held in 11, Post CS Amsterdam. This event is followed by the opening of the exhibition Pierre Bernard: Erasmus Prize 2006 in the Stedelijk Museum, which you are cordially invited to attend as well. Both events are also organized on behalf of the Praemium Erasmianum Foundation.
