Groenland is niet langer koud, het is cool!
Op zondag 14 februari presenteert Mediamatic, Najannguaq Svæd, opkomend mode-ontwerpster uit Groenland, voor het eerst in Nederland. Rob Sweere vertelt over zijn woningen op sledes en de plannen voor een mobiele gemeenschap. En Maria Golia presenteert 'Photography and Egypt'.

Najannguaq Svæd is een jonge modeontwerptser, in 2007 afgestudeerd aan de Copenhagen School for Fashion and Design. In haar ontwerpen speelt ze met de combinatie van traditionele en moderne technieken. Samen met beeldend kunstenaar Bolatta Silis-Hoeegh (GR) ontwikkelde Najannguaq een modeperformance op muziek van DJ copyfokking uit Kopenhagen.
Rob Sweere (NL) presenteert zijn Sledge project. In 2009 bouwde hij twee woningen op sledes in het noord-westen van Groenland. Deze zomer zal er een groter 'moederschip' bijkomen.
Maria Golia presenteert 'Photography and Egypte'. Maria is schrijfster en vertelt over haar verblijf in Caïro.
Als het ijs gesmolten is, onthult Groenland zijn ware, groene identiteit! Tijdens Kaffemik 3 lopen we even op de feiten vooruit en kleuren we alles groen.
Neem saaie, grijze, afgeleefde kledingstukken, meubels en andere spullen mee en geef ze een nieuw groen leven.
