With:

Speakers
We invited Daniel Shiffman to teach two workshops that take place on May 21 and 22.
Daniel Shiffman works as an Assistant Arts Professor at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is also the author of an important book called 'Learning Processing'. He will tell us more about his art projects and his teachings.
The other speaker is Jer Thorp. Jer is an artist and educator from Vancouver, Canada. A former geneticist, his digital art practice explores the many-folded boundaries between science and art. In this salon he will present his latest work Just Landed where he combined Processing, Twitter, and MetaCarta to map the phrase Just landed in... on the net, and rendered this as video. He will also tell us more about other projects he's working on.
