Sarah van Sonsbeeck

Halfway there: project proposal Noord. July, 2010.

Sarah van Sonsbeeck is an Amsterdam based artist interested in immaterial architecture, and the use and ownership of space. She is a former resident of the Rijksakademie for visual art in Amsterdam, and studied architecture (MA) and Fine Arts (BA).

For 'Noord' Van Sonsbeeck will be researching the process of buying a tiny plot of land in Noord's development zone along the IJ-river, with the intention of signing it over to the Noord residents once its value has raised.
