Save me
a national design, heritage and history conference
What should we save? Participants including Professor Charles Jeurgens, Professor Timo de Rijk and Joanna Zielinska will attempt to answer that question at the national design, heritage and history conference Save me/Bewaar me. The conference will take place on Friday 5 November, mainly in Dutch, on the steamship Rotterdam in Rotterdam harbour.
Speakers will include Jeurgens, of the Nationaal Archief and Leiden University; De Rijk, of the Delft University of Technology and VU University Amsterdam; and Zielinska, of the Centre of Contemporary Art in Torun, Poland.
Attendees will further explore the subject from the respective points of view of designers, museums, archiving organisations and individual collectors in breakout sessions.
Save me is a joint project of Premsela, the Netherlands Institute for Heritage, the Mondriaan Foundation and the Netherlands institute for heritage.
