16 Visions of bricks.

The EKWC invited sixteen artists, designers and architects to develop a brick. I spend a few months in a residency at the EKWC developing two glazes and a brick. 'The unknown is sure itself' is a beautifull skin-glaze, 'Black Eyes Open' is a brick to experience the outer climate from the inside and 'Glow' is a luminiscent glaze.

FOLLY, it essentially means: an architectonic object that is built to express a concept rather than for a functional purpose. The questions was how to keep the walls of the building wet.
