Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), 1983

Game: Duck Hunt

The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit video game console. It was released in North America, Europe and Australia in 1984.

The NES represents the start of the 8-bit rage. It was sold with one cartridge that included both Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. The revolutionary controller featured a cross-shaped joypad; the Zapper was used to virtually shoot ducks. In later levels the ducks were replaced by clay pigeons.

We would like to thank Bonami for the Pong console on show in the Arcade exhibition.
