Soft mapping of Amsterdam Noord

Jan Rothuizen got inspired for his 'Soft Atlas' during his daily walks.

Jan Rothuizen walked over the Jac. P. Thijsen-square. Afterwards he documented his experiences in a written map/drawn report - he is still looking for the best name to describe his work.

He did not only make a soft map of Noord: he made a whole book (De Zachte Atlas van Amsterdam), in which he documented Amsterdam in written maps. More maps can be studied on his own website.
