I first figured out what Mediamatic was talking about when I began translating their magazine as a student, back in 1989. I was studying animation filmmaking. Largely through my involvement with Mediamatic, translating soon grew into specialized editing for the new mass medium of internet. Now I'm a specialist in large-scale, interactive content. I create information architecture, lead international teams of copywriters and help develop products like websites, intranets, games, magazines, even sometimes industrial products like mobile devices. Since a year, I've also been teaching information architecture, content and concept development at the Communication and Multimedia Design faculty of Rotterdam University. That's really fun!
