Lunch with an eye witness

Monique Samuel interviews Tahrir Square activist Mohamed Helmy

Mohamed Helmy was one of the first to raise his voice on Cairo's Tahrir Square. He's joining us in the Pièce de Résistance project space for a chat with political scientist and author Monique Samuel. Helmy will talk about how he experienced the revolution by discussing objects he brings with him from Tahrir Square. Join us for this lunchtime-interview. Monique Samuel is an author, columnist, and prominent speaker in the Dutch debate concerning the meaning of the current Middle Eastern revolts. There are only 50 seats available, so please RSVP at the top of this page if you'd like to be present during this interview. Doors open at 12pm, lunch is from 12.15-13.30. Location: Mediamatic Bank, Vijzelstraat 68 Amsterdam. Entrance and lunch: free.
