'Silhouette' by Andrew Valkenburg-
My next storytelling project is "The Keys of Destiny from '1001 Arabian Nights'". In it I get to play Sherezade so photographer Andrew Valkenburg and I have been experimenting with shadowed or veiled images to this end because as always, I will never actually be SEEN!
I am creating a universal fairy tale Project which uses 'La Rate Blanche', a forgotten French folk tale as the basis of creating a fairy tale for all of humanity to speak one language and share an experience that links cultures and defies national, philosophical, religious, and social boundaries.
To this end, I have created source material in French, English and Chinese as the basic archetypes for each version of the fairy tale to be based upon.
