This is not an office party

Subbacultcha!'s book launch and party

Six months, six fresh artists, six openings, six editorial features, one book: a good reason for Subbacultcha! and Mediamatic to throw a great party on the lofty and empty first floor of the Mediamatic building. Bound to be legendary. The party marks the launch of the Subbacultcha! publication 'This Is Not An Office' featuring the work of all the artists that had their work on display at the Subbacultcha! Project Space.

This is not an office is a book featuring a selection of the photographs, drawings and collages that were exhibited in the project space at the Subbacultcha! office between 11 January and 24 June 2011. The works are by six young, talented and driven artists who were the focus of Subbacultcha’s Featured Artist project.

The book is designed by Nicole Martens and features works by Irene O’Callaghan, Ashkan Honarvar, Kim Boske, Koen Taselaar, Qiu Yang and Kristy Foom, who all had their work on display at the Subbacultcha! Project Space. There wil be live performances by CVLTS, Dream Boat & Jef Barbara as well as cocktails and DJs. Need we say more?

Subbacultcha! is a local independent music platform from Amsterdam. They promote shows, throw fun parties, run a label, a website and a magazine and keep Amsterdam busy.

Entrance is free. Doors open at 20.00 pm, show starts at 20.30 pm.
