Transnatural Arts, Research & {future} Design

Transnatural is where art & design meets and intertwines with technological & scientific innovation. The program transcends the traditional boundaries between nature and technology with a combination of art, (speculative) design, and emerging technology. In the Transnatural culture technology plays by the dynamic rules of nature without damaging the planet.

Through guerrilla events we share knowledge and encourage dialogue amongst creators and the public, and contemporary and social issues are discussed. Not only the project space (Workspace) guarantees an exciting program where work out of artist studios, design studios, labs and companies become visible: the city of Amsterdam itself will come alive with ‘transnatural phenomena’.

The Academy organizes related workshops, readings and inspiration days with recent technical development, groundbreaking thought, research and design methods. A cutting-edge art & design collection and national and international creators are represented through the Agency.
