Terschelling summer 2011
Art is my passion. I love looking at it, reading about it and finding out more about who made it and when and why. My main field of interest is old master paintings. The beautiful way the works are painted, the outlook it gives us on the way people used to live and the meaning hidden behind the depicted objects excites me.
Music and Writing are my favorite pastime. Writing reviews and articles or doing interviews for 3voor12 Limburg and Zwart Goud. Beside this, my friends and me founded a cultural production company called Nightscapes Productions. We organize chamber concerts with local and national artists playing in an intimate setting.
I love: stories (to read, tell and write), Rembrandt, playing my guitar, the leaves in autumn, photographs, walking my lease dog and humming subconscious melodies.
I loathe: organs, injustice, dishonesty and people who nag about immutable things such as the weather.

Kunsthal Rotterdam -
art project in Cultural Freezone the Landbouwbelang in Maastricht-
The artist and me share a common love for post its. He uses them to draw attention to simple objects or, in this case, the wheather outside. I use them for everything: notes to myself, to friends, grocery lists or as a bookmark. They are all over my appartment. One time we used them to promote a festival and stuck them on statues, traffic signs and bill boards all over town.
