A Perfect Day Tekenshow is a 14-day exhibition at Westergasfabriek (Amsterdam) where a large group of international artists presents work that combines image and text.
From 10 until 24 February, the Westergasfabriek is all about image and text: odd drawings and wonky reflections multiplied by film, music, talkshows, and drawing workshops. In anticipation of the Tekenshow, you can already get involved online or join one of the pop-up events in different parts of the city. A Perfect Day is an expansion of the exhibition Lots of Things Like This that was curated by Dave Eggers in New York in 2008. With works by Saul Steinberg, David Shrigley, Raymond Pettibon, David Bade, Olaf Breuning, John Körmeling, Gummbah, Marijn van Kreij and many others.
