Beauty Parlours were public research meetings in preparation of a Me! Me! Me! (Ik! Ik! Ik!), an exhibition about Self-Representation on the Internet, starting in July 2008 at Mediamatic. Beauty Parlours took place between January and April 2008.
Every week we invited an inspiring lecturer, who spoke about self-representation from his or her area of expertise. The presentations were followed by discussion.
