Shabera Night and live music by Treehouse

the shortest (5 min.) talk show from each presenter

Shabera Night was presented by Japanese creators living in the Netherlands, Dutch and foreign creators who are influenced by Japanese culture, organizations, groups, music bands etc.

After an evening filled with presentations, everyone enjoyed networking accompanied with live music by Treehouse and by DJ Yuta.

This night was part of the Japan New&Old, In&Out series held at Mediamatic in 2008.

Shabera Night

The evening was organized by Japanese artists Emiko Chujyo and Kyoko Inatome and was one of the events in the “Gastarbeider dating” project at Mediamatic. Inspired by “Pecha Kucha Night” we provided a situation in which creators from Japan, and creators from The Netherlands and elsewhere who were influenced by Japanese culture, introduced their work with each other.
