Mensen bedenken hun eigen grenzen, meestal met het oog op de daaraan verbonden gevaren, mochten grenzen overschreden worden. Is het niet door de ander, invloeden van buitenaf, dan wel door zichzelf; het levert potentieel gevaar op hun autonomiteit te verliezen!! Dit geldt ook voor elk land. Gelijkwaardig besef van territoria kenmerkt elk land door zich grenzen te stellen, die het bestaansrecht van cultuur, identiteit, binnen een omlijnd gebied in bescherming probeert te nemen, door preventief vluchtroutes cq. angsten te creëren.
