Anne Nigten is the head of V2_Lab, the aRt&D department of V2_, Institute for the Unstable Media in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
- She is initiator and director of The Patchingzone, a praxis lab for transdisciplinary reserch and development (www.patchingzone.net)
She lectures on research and development in the interdisciplinary field from an art perspective.
- She is advisor and boardmember for several media art and science initiatives in Europe such as ISEA nl, Noordkaap (NL), The Public Gallery (UK)
- She completed her PhD at the University of the Arts London (UK)
- She publishes papers on art, engineering and (computer) science collaboration and software development.
-Before her current position at V2_ she has been working as an independent media artist, and simultaneously fulfilled several management jobs in the education and media art field in the Netherlands.
