So we hopped on the plane, marveled in the luxuries of our hotel and did a miniponics workshop. Turns out it doesn't really matter where you do a workshop, aquaponics remains to be a subject of fascination and it keeps attracting just those people hard to involve in art and cultural activities, like our Turkish driver ;-)

Contemporary art organization K2 in Izmir is currently in the middle of the process leading to an exhibition in March 2014 about the ecology of the city. They invited us to do an aquaponics workshop right in the center, in the garden of the city archives.
