Eric Klarenbeek graduated in 2003 at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Since then he has designed for clients such as Davidoff, Droog, Moooi, Studio Makkink & Bey, the city of Amsterdam and the province Gelderland, while teaching at the Art Academy Enschede. His projects have been exhibited and published extensively. His windlight is presented at the World Expo in Shanghai and ‘The Floating Light Project’ was rewarded with ‘De Willie Wortel Prijs’, the award for innovative design at The Design Academy Eindhoven.

Recently there has been a lot of publications for his Mycelium Chair. It was the 'must see' item on the Dutch Design Week at Eindhoven. Together with Mediamatic Eric is building a bigger 3D-printer to give workshops about printing with mycelium and to print objects like his Mycelium Chair.
