"Had I been paying attention, I wouldn't have seen it happen."
There is much more to interaction with our environment than what we intentionally register. Things slip through our consciousness and escape our control. Design is an attempt to harness matter by limiting its potential to only what fits our intentions. When our intentions change, we again seek the creative potential of unexplored matter. Having gone through this cycle a few times we realize that we were never really after stability. Rather, it was those vivid moments of uncertainty and improvisation that made us experience our own potential.
