AC3D is popular 3D object/scene modeller available for Linux, Windows 95/NT, and SGI.

It's is very easy to use but powerful too - anyone can create good looking 3d objects in minutes. Dutch pop duo, Arling & Cameron, used AC3D to create two virtual alter egos. AC3D has done their album cover, a couple of web and radio interviews and some announcements for MTV and TMF.
