Spanish artist.
Daniel Canogar, born in Madrid in 1964, lives and works in Madrid. He studied visual communications at the Complutense University, and received his Master´s in photography from NYU/ICP in 1990. He has been awarded numerous grants and artist-in-residence positions and has appeared in group and solo exhibitions worldwide. His work has been exhibited at the Fundación Arte y Tecnología, Madrid; Palacio de Velázquez, Madrid; Galería Helga de Alvear, Madrid; Galería Estrany de la Mota, Barcelona; Art + Public Gallery, Geneva; Espace d'Art Yvonamor Palix, Paris; Centre d'Art Contemporain de Basse Normandie, France; Axe Neo-7, Québec; Metronom, Barcelona; Centro de Arte Santa Mónica, Barcelona; Artist Space, New York, Museo Alejandro Otero, Caracas; Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, Ohio; Offenes Kulturhaus Center for Contemporary Art, Upper Austria, Linz; the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein Westfallen Museum, Dusseldorf and the Hamburger Banhof Musuem in Berlin.
