Miktor & Molf, the son of a reverend and the son of a soldier, are two multitalented young men who work with various techniques in various ranges of themes. The latter is perhaps a typical characteristic of them being part of the multitasking-short-concentration-span-generation Einstein.

In cooperation with SPRMKT The Grey Box was created. The Grey Box is a series of exhibitions by upcoming contemporary artists in Amsterdam shown @ SPRMRKT. The Grey Box and SPRMRKT provide young, gifted artists with a platform, thus the world with a sneak-preview of what is about to hit our planet in the coming decennia.

The first ones will be Miktor & Molf, opening the 18th December 2008. Amongst other work they will show a series of drawings/collages/paintings on A4 paper which they describe as 'an inefficient clean desk policy solution'. Influenced and inspired by their different upbringings, modern pop culture, dirty old magazines, heavy metal, skateboarding, Mariah Carey, newspapers, internet, each other and what not, they produce very schizophrenic work in a very authentic manner.

The Grey Box is an experiment in which we explore the possibilities of a non-existing market; the new and youngest art that is not out there yet. Other featured artists include:Casper Mantje Eek,Lieuwe van Gogh, BC Voss,Laura Breebaart , Jelle van der Ploeg, Sas Noor, and more.

Thursday December 18th 17.00hrs-19.00hrs
