Worn Relics presents SWAPSHOP! A temporary installation where you can exchange a pre-loved clothing item (and its story) for something new!
With:
AnneOpening celebration: Friday 23 January 2009 at 8:00 pm, Het Ketelhuis, Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam. Swapshop will be open every day during the Amsterdam International Fashion Week from 24 January - 1 February; Saturday, Sunday & Wednesday from 12:00 hrs; other days from 4:00 pm.
Don't forget to bring clothing to swap! Swapshop is part of Worn Relics and is made by Ruby Hoette in collaboration with Anne Stooker.

Description:Red cotton dress with thin straps, boning in the bodice and two big pockets on the skirt. It has 7 buttons down the back and patches on the skirt to cover old stains

Story:This dress was given to me by a friend in New York City from her suitcase of dress-ups. It was much larger, longer and strapless before I adapted it.
