ElineTwelve artists and designers were asked to hand in their Masterpiece. There were no restrictions concerning content and technique, the only obstruction was to bring in a work in A1 size (594x841mm) with the title MASTERPIECE.
Between January and June 2009 these works are presented in a 2-weeks-cycle in the entrance hall of Meneer de Wit Studios, Witte de Withstraat 10. For every new Masterpiece that is replacing the old one, an opening ceremony will be hosted in the exhibition space.
The works were comissioned by the project initiative S7 – Claudia Doms, Joel Galvez, Eline Mul, Per Törnberg, Cécile Tafanelli and Merel van den Berg.
THE MASTERPIECE SERIES #3 features a work by ADAM ETMANSKI.
The opening will be on Friday, February 20 at 17.00 hrs at Meneer de Wit, where the work can be viewed until March 5, 2009.
