The economy may be dazed and confused, but Jablonski has achieved Zen clarity about launching a contemporary art business in a city with fairly shallow client depth.
"People say there is no art collecting base in Portland," says Jablonski, 30, whose Southeast Portland space opens Friday with an exhibit of photographic works by Devon Oder, a 27-year-old Los Angeles artist. "But I've seen the opposite. It's just a matter of access."
