Jasper Altena (19-11-1967) studied Modern Asiatic History at the University of Amsterdam.
With:
His main interest is the history of Viet-Nam, specifically the Viet-Namese revolutionaries of the beginning of the 20th century, Phan Boi Chau and Phan Chan Trinh. He did research in the colonial archives of Aix-en Provence and Hanoi and reported his findings on the international congresses EuroViet 2 and 3. At home in Amsterdam he works on one of the oldest Mediamatic Macintoshes, a heavily used Mac SE from 1987.
