Geography of the Border

Four exhibitions, four curators: Histories of the Border by Vicenzo Trione, Geography of the Border by Aaron Betsky, The Borders of Time by Robert Storr, Visions of the Frontier by Robert Wilson
The four shows comprise the sweeping project devoted to exploring the ambiguous concept of "boundary" and its evolution in today’s art and society. It aims to accomplish this through works by contemporary creators that re-create the scenarios of upheaval in which the flux of our world today is unfolding, and an everyday reality which despite the apparent empire of globalization is characterized by a constant resurgence of walls and barriers, of duplicity.
