Musicians Wanted
for Musical Production of De Appel Curatorial Programme Project
De Appel is currently looking for musicians for a newly commissioned production of London-based American playwright Lee Scrivner for its world premiere in Amsterdam Noord on the 28th June for de Appel Curatorial Programme '08/'09's project 'Weak Signals, Wild Cards'. (weaksignals.nl)
We are in search of musicians to play the following instruments for "Lord Garden's Masque, An Antimanifesto":
- Violin / Cello
- Recorder (Alto or Tenor)
- Harp
- Harpsichord
- Oboe or any reed instrument
There is a fee of 200 EUR together with acknowledgements on the catalogue and the website for the musicians involved for the 20-minute production. Musicians involved are expected to be available on the between 25-27th for two rehearsals as well as the performance early evening on the 28th June in Amsterdam Noord. Ideal collaborators would be musicians with enthusiasm and are confident at experimenting with the score that they are given, and are able to learn two songs from notation or an MP3 file.
