Photos & connections
Take a photo, make a connection...
A photo booth that encourages people to take photos of themselves with others. By touching tags to a number of interaction points (perhaps 3 or 4) a photo is taken, a connection is made, and profile pictures are added to the picnic website.

Plan B: if the construction of the box is too complex, we can wall-mount the camera/interaction points and lights alongside a screen.

chimera
what about adding a chimeric element inside this database/pictures?
sometimes a non material figure appears in the pictures, a shadow without reference, a layer of non-existence.
with this level of entropy we start visualizing how subtile is the difference between existing entity and described entity ...
according to mythology, a chimera is a monstrous creature made of parts of multiple animals.
a way to implement this could be collecting characteristic from different pictures/faces, and combine them in a way that every 'n' real persons making the pictures, the software generates the image of a non-existing identity. the ambiguity of google can help to forge generic names linked to thousands stories and none.
a way to surpass the gap of control is privacy. another way is the proliferation of redundant information.
