The Service
On the Mediamatic.net website, you are encouraged to connect with friends, make a profile, add events to the communal calendar, add photographs of yourself or events you have visited, register for mediamatic events, and to collect objects in your "things I like" set.
In consideration of your use of the Service, you represent yourself.
You agree to:
1: provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself in your registration data,
2: maintain and promptly update the registration data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.
Should Mediamatic have reason to believe that you are not providing true, accurate, current or complete information about yourself in the registration data, Mediamatic reserves the right to terminate your account or delete portions of your content at any time.
As a user of the Service, you understand that all information, data, text, music, movies, photographs, comments, tags, or any other material ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the user from who this Content has originated. This means that you as a user are solely responsible for any Content you upload. This also means that Mediamatic does not control the content posted to its service and takes no responsibility for the accuracy, integrity of quality of such Content.
As a user of the Service, you agree not to use it to:
1: upload, post or in any way make available Content which is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
2: impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affliation with any person or entity;
3: forge identifiers that disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the Service;
4: upload, post or in any way make available Content which you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary realtionships (such as inside information or proprietary and confidential information);
5: upload, post, or in any way make available Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;
6: upload, post or in any way make available unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters or pyramid schemes;
7: upload, post or in any way make available computer code containing software viruses or any code designed to disrupt the functionality of computer software, hardware or telecommunications equipment
8: harass other users;
9: collect or store personal data about other users in connection with the prohibited conduct and activities as described in the above paragraphs.
Mediamatic.net at all terms reserves the right to remove or alter your Content. We may at all times remove entries from the Open Agenda if these do not match with our cultural policy, or if an event is not connected to a publically accesible location.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service.
You acknowledge Mediamatic may establish general practices regarding usage limits of the Service, including but not limited to maximum upload levels.
You acknowledge that Mediamatic can terminate your account without prior notice at any given time.
