Mediamatic Atelier

Practical research: developing projects with artists and designers

Mediamatic Atelier is a programme in which we support artists, designers and other authors with the development of software based projects.

We are primarily working in the field of storytelling and networked collaboration. Interactive film and collective authoring are keywords. Mediamatic provides curatorial and technical assistance in the development of artists' work.

The program is a collaboration of Mediamatic Foundation and Mediamatic Lab. Mediamatic Lab is the partner organisation of the foundation that develops projects for clients. In the Atelier, the technological experience of the Lab is made available to autonomous projects of individual artists and groups.
