Reas (USA / Los Angeles) has co-developed a cultural tool called <em>Processing</em>. It's a open source software package that enables people to program interactive and visual things on their computer. During his presentation, he discussed his work as a programmer, talked about his new book and demonstrated what you can do with <em>Processing</em>. Afterwards, the artists Karsten Schmidt (GER / London) and Aaron Koblin (USA) gave a lecture about working with <em>Processing</em>.</p> <h6>What?</h6> <p><em>Processing</em> is an open source programming language and environment for people who want to program images, animation, and interactions. It is used by students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists for learning, prototyping, and production.
