Arabic Type Designer and Typographer

Pascal Zoghbi (Lebanon) graduated in July 2006 with a Master of Design from the Type & Media course at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. In 2002 he received his Bachelor Degree of Arts from Notre Dame University in Lebanon. Prior to his postgraduate studies, he worked in Beirut for several years as a graphic designer in print and web design. He is an independent type and graphic designer since August 2006 and he is currently a part-time instructor teaching graphic design and typography courses at AUB (American University of Beirut) and NDU (Notre Dame University).

Arabic type designer. Collaborated with Martin Majoor (renown Dutch type designer) on an Arabic type that will be the companion for FFSeria. The font is part of the 'Typographic Matchmaking 01' project of the Khatt Foundation organized by Huda AbiFares. Amsterdam & Dubai.

November 2003 – September 2005
Graphic designer (Typographer) at ‘Alarm, design & publishing,’ Sabbag Bldg., Patriarch Howayeck Street, Beirut. Designed publishing projects, events, corporate identities & others. Well-known clients Microsoft EastMed & USJ.

Web designer at ‘Netways s.a.r.l.,’ 9th floor, Mathaf Center, Ashrafieh, Beirut. Designed more than 40 static & animated web sites.
