Project:

The Sweet Bitvault

the cryptocash bank and payment processor

Recently new and novel ways to apply cryptography to monetary systems have made it possible to have a currency without mint, arbitrator, backing or other central authority. All it needs to flourish is someone to offer additional services, convenience and safety, a bank. That's what I'll create. The first supported new money's named Bitcoin, and it will not go away.

I want to create easy and safe payments and money for everyone. Bitcoin lends itself perfectly to become the base of such a system, although other currency's will eventually be included. I'm looking for financial and legal aid and programmers to help me develop for several platforms in a timely manner.

New media will be able to charge minute amounts of money without disconveniencing users. Payment freedom will greatly increase the flexibility of income-models and hopefully increase their potential.
This project is not aimed specifically at new media. I will most likely have a blog, forum and Twitter (which can also be considered new media) to stay in contact with costumers.

Note that the meaning of "new media" is ambiguous and I might have answered the wrong question.

(this question is almost silly!)
It will change the lifeblood of civilization itself. Transactions will become as anonymous and cheap as need be. Things like crowd-sourcing, open-source, micro-transactions but also web-shopping will become tremendously more easy and accessible.
You are no longer required to participate in an unstable economy. Because Bitcoins have neither trust nor physical backing their price is entirely fictive and dependent on any single third party's influence (nothing the euro's devaluation because of Greece could ever happen to Bitcoin).

The fact that there'll be a bank will make it the most secure AND most convenient way to manage money, if I get to do it right.
