The Teddy Bear coffin arrives!
Anuschka Linse is excited to receive her personal coffin
During the opening of the Ik R.I.P. exhibition on January 30 the teddy bear coffin was unwrapped. It will be on display during the exhibition.
On 13 December 2008 Mediamatic ordered the coffin for her employee Anuschka Linse, who got the chance to design it herself. She made a sketch of a crazy teddy bear. In a few weeks Eric Adotey Naah of the eShopAfrica crafted it out of wood. The coffin was ready on the 17th of January and was shipped from Accra in Ghana to Amsterdam. It arrived on Monday the 26th. So ordering a coffin takes less than six weeks. It cost about € 1500, including transport by plane.
