An unusual combination from two different worlds of music, visual invasions and the premiere of Rubber Johnny.
with:
Pieces by Steve Reich and John Cage as well as Aphex Twin, Plaid and Jamie Lidell. Visuals will be provided by Pablo Fiasco, flat-e and Bluespoon.
Chris Cunningham's latest film Rubber Johnny will be shown, on a mutant, shapeshifting boy with redneck parents that keep him locked in the basement.
Also George Antheil’s Ballet Mécanique will be performed, accompanied by film by Fernand Léger and Man Ray.
