Mediamatic wants to help your side projects grow into products and is looking for interns who are interested in developing personal and collective ideas within the context of larger wholes. We like creativity, good ideas and spontaneity, beautiful code and sharing.
If you would like to elaborate on a larger project or if you like to build effective widgets, we are looking for you.

We expect interns to take initiative and be proactive in the workspace. If we use techniques which you cannot take classes in, you are expected to be able to expand your knowledge base independently. Familiarity with object oriented languages is required as well as experience with PHP, JavaScript and MySQL. Any other kind of knowledge (Haskell, Python, RDF Databases, et cetera) is very welcome as well.

Mediamatic internship

Typically, any Mediamatic internship lasts 100 (working) days. We offer a reasonable internship compensation of 250 euro per month (based on a 5-day working week) and limited commuting expenses where appropriate.

We offer a interesting work environment, with challenging and usefull projects. You will work in a small, non-hierarchical team. We are situated in the centre of Amsterdam.
