FLYING
DANIEL VAN GILS (NL) is an interactive media designer/developer. Since 1997 he has been working in the field of interactive media for children, thus accomplishing a vast experience in the field of Machinima productions, “Games as Tools”, building interactive installations and give live AV performances.
He currently runs his Amsterdam based interactive media / game design studio KAMERBLAUWLICHT. Beside running his company he also teaches part-time machinima, game design & interactive installations at a couple of Dutch Academy of Arts and at MediaMatic.
In his sparetime he perform (his alter-ego Hi Squeaky Things) LIVE electronic dance music using his own visuals using modified game-engines.
