*A_Childish_Nothingness Project Intro:

A_C_N ( A Childish Nothingness) is an on-going visual art project initiated from 2005 when Mu Xue was living in Enschede where she was doing research and practice at Dutch Art Institute. ( DAI/ Master Programme / ArtEZ. Enschede. NL).

In this project Mu Xue focuses on her personal living experience. Mu’s investigating the moving mental and physical space where she inhabits. As an observer, Mu attempts to work with her very natural intuitions that enable visibility of hidden qualities in life, which normally have been labeled with historical, social or political references. Mu prefer to leave these interpretative contents in abandonment to let thing live on its own.

Mu's notion of life, as hypothesis, is to reveal to unspoken parts as well as the unspeakable parts of life without addressing it in known forms. She is interested in methods that could subtly inspire thoughts of potential forms of life, not only as chemical substances but also as metaphysical existence.

The result of Mu's works are mostly from the incorporation of various methods and mediums, she works on different projects and ideas simultaneously.

In A_C_N project, the outcome are groups of drawings, diaries, (found) objects, environments, installations, short animation & video clips.
