Shelley is the Manager of Information Systems at the Brooklyn Museum. Since 1999 she has worked to further the Museum's community-oriented mission through projects including free public wireless access, podcast subscription feeds, cell phone tours and handheld PDAs. She is the initiator and current administrator of the Museum's web initiatives on MySpace, Facebook, Flickr , YouTube, and Twitter. She drives a '74 vw super beetle and she organized Click! A Crowd-Curated Exhibition.
