Lonneke started working for Mediamatic as an intern in March 2005. She studied Language and Culture Studies (BA) at the University of Utrecht and followed the master New Media and Digital Culture there. In september 2005 she got her masters degree.
After her internship she worked at Mediamatic as a workshop coordinator. In September 2006 she decided to go back to university again to get another masters degree in communication studies (UvA).
